It’s been quite a few weeks since our last update. Christmas has come and gone, snow is still here and it’s 2019! We ended our year strong though by making a new beer. A hefeweizen filled with coriander and bitter orange peels. Although we didn’t get going until late in the year, 2018 was a big stepping stone for us to move forward full force into 2019.
In 2018, we got all of our licensing done! This was a huge step and obviously very important for us to start brewing beer. We also got our brewhouse going, a 1 bbl system. We made four different kinds of beers and settled on two of them. We bought more equipment which doubled our capacity. We made a lot of mistakes but more importantly we have learned from all of those mistakes.
Looking forward to 2019 we have some big goals. We want to buy more equipment to triple our current capacity. We want to nail down five main recipes and create three seasonal beers. We also want to grow into more establishments to share our beer with more people. We have a lot of work ahead of us but you can be sure to know we will be having a blast doing it all.
